April 06 2011 - Florim has won the prestigious “RSI” Prize
Tuesday, April 5th 2011, during an event organized at the Chamber of Commerce of Modena, Florim has won the prestigious “RSI” Prize (Corporate Social Responsibility Prize in the Province of Modena) for the 2009 edition of its Sustainability Report.
A joint recognition between the Province of Modena and the Chamber of Commerce, now in its fifth edition, the Prize aims to reward and acknowledge the best examples of Corporate Social Responsibility in a number of categories, citing them as standards of innovation and corporate culture.
Florim has won this important recognition in the category of “Environmental and Social Reporting and Communication”. Its third Sustainability Report, soon to be released, is the first, and to date, only report of this nature in the ceramic tile industry. It has become a benchmark for reporting on the commitments and actions taken by the company in an economic, social and environmental framework, and represents an ideal tool of information and dialogue to all stakeholders.
This is why the Sustainability Report is published each year, in addition to the traditional methods of management control, as a constant reminder of its corporate stability and commitment to improving company performance and understanding its impact on the community, while seeking to combine competitiveness, innovation and sustainability.
