Starbucks Coffee Japan - Store Planning Team
The café is located at the entrance of a large public complex. One of its main features is the prominence given to music, leaving visitors with the memory of a special experience. A well-known broadcasting station (Tokyo FM Radio Station) operates right inside the premises, which are also provided with CD playing equipment that can be freely used by the customers.
The floors are covered with 60x60 cm ceramic tiles of the Neutra collection, by Casamood, colour 05 cement - a simple and elegant solution that highlights the furniture and the café’s identity, and blends in perfectly with the other materials used (wood, plastic, metal, resin, fabric).
The lighting is designed to visually differentiate the different shop sections, using luminaires of various shapes and with different light diffusion effects.
