The artist used the Florim Casamood mosaics to create an installation that appears different depending on the viewing perspective.
Pancrazzi manipulates the viewer’s perception using glass and ceramic tesserae like the pixels of a digital image.
The seven colours and two mosaic sizes portray two urban landscapes with varying degrees of definition depending on the viewing distance.
The installation was first exhibited at Milan in 2006, during the Fuori Salone at Superstudio Più, Zona Tortona, and later that year at Art Basel Miami Beach, the most important art show in the United States.
